"I love this family"

In the words of Jeanie Allen, (said in a high pitched very nervous voice,) "I love this family!"Jeanie has spent many Thanksgivings with us when we play lots of games. She is a very hospitable guest and always fits right in to our traditions and preparations. But when it has come to games and the Mullally competitive spirit, I have observed her being a bit uncomfortable, and making her statement, "I love this family!" at the peak of winneres take all. Which makes us all laugh, and realize that we have gone over the edge and the game did not seem like a game , and people were "being mean " and is that fun? Hell yea that's fun. On another note I hope we did not do that to our two guests at the Outer Banks a couple of weeks ago. But my guess is that both of our new found family members have had experiences with the game attitudes that both of my children possess.
I must confess, that I have always been a fair player and its not winning that matters but playing the game that counts. Whatever, these people are ruthless. So if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, and when the going gets tough ,the tough get going . And if you don't stick up for yourself no 0ne elses will. So you go for the throat, and make it count. And if it's too hard for some folks , look out mister you are gone..... Except for my sweet sister Jeanie, who may I say , you want on your team because she comes up with the unexpected, the wild card , and pulls the team through. Well, I think that having three athletes in my family has chnged my persona in a way that I think is Okay. Please let me know if my game playing becomes too radical, as of right now, I think I'm just keeping up.
