Happy Trails Left Behind

The boys left this morning with their Mama, after visiting for a week. As soon as they pulled out of the driveway everything in the house reminded me of their stay. The Cheerios in the corner of the love seat. The little post-it notes with Abe's scribbling on it. The sensitive wipees in the bathroom, and the bowl with baby washcloth in it. Too much. I want them to stay forever. Even Abe came all the way back in the house to give me a second kiss goodbye. My heart is breaking. We live in the same state, I do not know how other grandparents handle it, if they live far away from their young'uns.

I will be able to look at the visit in retrospect and say what a blessing it was, but as of right now this moment, I am sad. I know it's mental pause. They are too precious for words.

Memorial Day

Well I have both my parents and Rob's Dad that were veterans, and what a wonderful contribution they made to our country. We have a cool thing in our neighborhood for the past 6 years, with flags, and we resurrect them to honor our veterans.Way cool. I can not imagine what is was like for our family members to have their children , siblings or friends in the war, any war. God Bless America. I am so thankful that I was born here. I am so thankful that my children are here, and have the opportunities that they have. God Bless America, thank you to the men and women that keep us safe, thank you to the people in all the services that keep America safe.

Happy Memorial Day

Well we had Memeorial Day Weekend. We had graduations, and picnics, .....and Battle of the Bands @ French Lick. That was so fun and our guys won. Our Guys, are Sara's Dad and his band mates who we don't really know, from Cinci, but they sounded pretty damn good. We are going to miss the second round, but I hope they win . Then we can experience the Ultimate Country Battle Of the Bands in Southern Indiana. Looking forward to that weekend. Hope we are here!

Memorial Day means that summer is actually here, and for sure, I am not ready. Here it is. I got the biggest surprise ever. Brianne and Abe and little Samson decided to make a trip. So I have got my little ones here with me, and it makes me feel so good. There is nothing like holding a baby to make you feel wonderful. And that's just how I feel this very moment. I had a party weekend, and now I have my baby fix, I am just right.

Happy Big 5-0 Joyce

Happy Birthday Joyce! You know it's sort of annoying that the youngest siblings are finally turning fifty. It not only reminds us how old WE are, but how much younger you are. Joyce was the baby of Rob's family. So she got picked on a lot by her older brothers who could be jerky boys at times. (I know Joyce, I was there) They didn't mean it, they were kids and they were stupid. They love you and would never be that way again. (Especially since you are so much younger and better looking than they are).
This picture is very special because I see the three generations of women, and how beautiful are they?
Congratulations on turning fifty....and guess what? You are a cougar honey! And just love it!

Happy Mother's Day to Brianne

Congratulations on your new addition of little Samson to your family. What a precious gift he is for all of us this year.

The Boys

Happy Mother's Day

Here are some old friends that all just happen to be mothers. Happy Mother's Day to all of us. We all watched each others kids grow up along with our own. Yes, and all of us were were working Moms and all our kids turned out pretty good. There is not one crack addict in the bunch. So, how bout that? All of the kids are actually pretty successful. Now the grandchildren are so going to surpass their parents. I totally plan to move into the Whitehouse with one or both of my grandsons. Just an FYI. I will be known as Miss Jillsy or just Baba for short.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to Gaga! God love her, she deserves a special day for all her accomplishments. Here are just a couple of them .....minus Baby Sam, who wasn't around for these festivities, which just happened to be Pat and Samantha's wedding. Samson was just a twinkle in his parents' eyes, as my Grandma Allen would say. Any who, this is a pretty cool picture of the " Mullally Clan" grandchildren and the lady that started it all. (With a little help from Robert Sr.)
