American Freaking Idol....You Rock

I do not care if you follow American Idol. If you like entertainment and you did not watch this show you lost out. I was blown away by this finale. Not only are the American Idol rejects singing, who for rejects...these kids are soo good, but let me share with you some names. There were the Bee Gee's, Michael McDonald, Christina freaking Agulara, Ricky Gervais, Alanis Morosette, Hall and freaking Oats(my favs for all time)Carrie Underwood, who I love, Brett from Poison...he almost died this year, Chicago, for God's sake, these are all in my most favorites bands/singers forever. If that wasn't enough, Kelly Clarkson,Rupert Stodderd,Fantansia, and Paula came back. Dear Lord I was in American Idol heaven.
Paula had to be her Paula self, and clap crazily, and then there was Janet Jackson.....I know .....SHUT UP! She is awesome, but what's up with her hair. It's okay wit me girl, you're HOT!
Then to top the whole night off.......Joe Don't you just love it Cocker. He was old, but he still sang good, the young'INS loved him...and I totally do. It was an awesome show. I swear, it was totally for me [personally, cause those were my bands through the years.
I really thought Christal would win, but, I have a feeling that she will do just fine. Good luck Lee. Let me tell you it was a great show, and if you are fifty something....you woulda loved it. I'm watching it again right now!
P.S.

The Birds

If you have ever seen the movie The Birds, by Alfred Hitchcock, you would know why I am so freaked out right now. Ever since we moved to our new location, I swear, these birds are hovering over our house. Today...there was another dead bird on my patio. This has occurred every summer since we moved here. The first summer we had three dead birds lying around. Well, I was cleaning up our patio today, and really I felt like these birds were eyeing me. They aren't even afraid... it was like they were pissed that I was in their space. I looked around to the neighbors yards , I didn't really notice any birds over there. Honestly four robins were hanging out altogether just looking at me, really close. That freaks me out. Why is this wildlife not afraid of me? Remember the raccoon? He didn't care that I was coming outside. What do I live in Dr. Doolittle Land? I do not want to be friends with the animals....I really do not like domestic animals. (Sorry Ozzie and Sydney) Whatever, wild animals have disease and germs, they frighten me.
And from my ethnic upbringing, not from my own home, but I grew up in an ethnic town, dead birds are bad ju-ju. I have a personality that sways to superstitious ways, I believe that stuff. Actually I thrive on it, but that's another blog. These birds are freaking me out.
How 'bout the bird nest on my front porch, and the mother bird never came back to feed her baby, and then the baby bird was gone.Did it die or fly? What's up with that? And now this dead bird. What is mother nature trying to tell me?When Robby was two a big bird swooped down on him , and he was scared of birds for a long time. Maybe that's when my phobia started, and I was just reminded of it today. What the hell...then there was a bunch of them flying overhead making lots of noise. Like a whole giant flock, really close to the ground. Shouldn't they be more south, or do they go north now? I'm a city girl, I do not like critters.
When we moved to Delaware, Ohio I had issues with crickets, but they were good luck. Freaking dead birds are bad luck. There was also a chipmunk today (which I didn't mind so much cause I love Walt Disney's Chip and Dale) and there was a big hole by our patio and I'm afraid that freaking drunk raccoon is gonna come out and attack me, so I put a real heavy outdoor mat over the hole. There was also a boring bee, which kept buzzing around my head like a 747. Usually Rob goes after those like it's war with the broom. Well, I am just exhausted from battling all this nature. I did spend a lot of time out doors and it was 90 degrees maybe I was hallucinating. There definitely was a dead bird. Maybe all the birds were coming to pay their respects. Just think if I would live in the mountains and have bears to deal with.
