Happy Birthday Abe!

Well we had a birthday weekend with Abe for his fifth birthday. He kept telling me it wasn't his REAL birthday....just his party. I loved everything about it. Spiderman is his new obscession, so absolutely the party revolved around SPIDEY. Abe had drawn several pictures of Spiderman that were displayed throughout the house and on the front door. Abe was very proud of his work and showed them all to me. There was crape paper with Spiderman that Abe and Sam were so excited to decorate with. Super Heroes hung from the chandelier in the dining room, then the Spiderman Pinata, that Abe demolished. There was the cake! Abe took me to the fridge several times to check out this cake. Sam was so into it too, just as excited as Abe ...if that's possible. He was like Abe's little groupie, and just followed along in Abe's happiness of Spiderman everything!
There were several superhero accessories for the kids to put on, cause of course Abe had on his Spiderman costume. The kids were hilarious, ranging in ages from one to seven. It was so much fun watching these parents chase after their tots.
Abe really enjoyed every second, and I have got to say I did too. Looking around the backyard, I have watched most of these parents grow up and now seeing them all as parents, and seeing their little children is so great. These young people are all such good parents. It was such a good day.
Abe had a fabulous time and has such a tender heart. He is very thoughtful, takes everything in then processes it.
Brianne made a slideshow of Abe's past five years and I must admit, I teared up. Dear Lord, how amI gonna be at his graduation?

Happy Birthday Month Abram Patrick!

You have just grown up to be such a special little boy. I can not believe you are going to be five. Actually you definitely have changed over this past year, from a tottler like your little brother to a handsome boy.
You are very sensitive and thoughtful. You articulate everything you observe and feel. I have never seen that in a little boy your age, or little girl for that matter.
I can not wait for you to learn how to read, cause a whole new world will open up for you. Who knows where reading will take you. For right now though, you are into Spiderman which you have told everyone as soon as you meet them. There was absolutely a Spiderman underlying theme to our vacation week, although we never had a Spiderman dinner, we did however have Harry Potter themed dinner, which was way fun.
Your birthday celebration will have plenty of Spiderman everywhere, so no need to feel like vacation was a bust.
You are a special boy, and Baba and Rob love you sooooo much. You would not believe it. Happy 5th year my grandson. You are so loved by so many .
