Happy Holidays and Happy Wedding Day

We had Jill and Rob's excllent adventure of being the main caregivers during Brianne's friend's wedding this weekend. Bermi's wedding was beauteous and she was too. Baba and Rob however were quite frazzled, and tried to do our best rounding up the boys and having them presentable for the special occasion. I am so glad we got to attend the festivities, but Rob and I are not very well practiced in caring, dressing, dressing ourselves, bringing all the extras, such as diapers, juice cups, wipees, etc. When one brother ran one way, the other one ran the other way. We'd have one dressed and the other would have a blow-out. (Which was probly my fault because every time he asked for juice , I gave it to him. In retrospect that was not a smart move. Which reminds me of the time my mother had Bri for a couple hours and let her have too many red Popsicles and well , lets just say there was a a price to pay.) Anywho..... So we made it to the church right as the bridal party was coming down the isle.....not a good move. I do not know if Brianne was wagging her finger at the boys or at us. Something tells me that the tall people were the culprits, maybe not.
The most fun remembrance will be that, as I grabbed Sam and ran for the church, Rob handled Abe. I had on very stupidly high heels to be carrying and 2 year old, so I figured we could get a head start. Abe and Rob are quite mobile, they would catch up easily. Well, they were taking quite some time. We were almost to the church door when I saw Abe walking down the sidewalk with his arms full. He had two Spiderman guys, a "CARS" toss toy, and his Spiderman PJ's ON THE HANGER. I looked at Rob...and he said, Don't ask. Whatever, we bunched them all up and took them all into the church.
The sweetest remembrance was when Bermice walked down the isle, Sam said, Pretty. Well, if that isn't out of the mouths of babes. That she was. She brought a tear to my eye. The boys were absolutely perfect in church. The guy in front knocked the kneeler, the babies were crying everywhere, kids were needing to leave here and there, but Sam fell asleep and Abe sat with me like such a big boy. He stated, I know how to act in church Baba. Yes, he does. As the ceremony was over, he was so proud of his Spiderman PJ's that he was waving them like a flag. Which people in the whole scheme of things, I really didn't care. By the time we left the church, all the bubble stuff was already handed out, so our Abe raised his PJ's high and wished G_G Toot-Toot and Lester happiness and congrats. I am sure this will be a remembrance for many years to come.
